Welcome!

My name is Alyssa Shears and I currently work as a Residence Life and Education Coordinator at the University of Central Florida. I received both my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education and my Master's Degree in Higher Education from Florida State University.

I am the rare form of human that actually loves ice breakers! I started brainstorming new activities in my free time and needed a space to keep these ideas documented. After creating my own "Guide to Breaking the Ice," I began sharing it with other professionals across the country. It soon became so frequently requested that I decided to transfer my guide into a website for easy access for all!
